Ayurveda Loka is a sanctuary nestled in a lush, eco-friendly carbon-neutral village in the ancient hills of Wayanad, Kerala. Managed by a family of Ayurvedic physicians, Ayurveda Loka is an extension of Purnayoo Arogya Nikethanam, an Ayurvedic hospital healing and helping lives for over three decades. Our approach encompasses Ayurvedic treatments, a balanced diet, therapeutic yoga, rituals and herbs. We welcome you to rest, reset and rejuvenate in this healing place.

Dr. Padmanabhan is an award-winning Ayurvedic practitioner with over four decades of experience in traditional healing. He has mentored numerous Ayurveda doctors and students and transformed the lives of over 300,000 patients from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. As Chief Physician at Purnayoo Arogya Nikethanam Ayurveda & Yoga Centre, he has steered the vision of the hospital and helped treat ailments from paralysis to arthritis. In his practice, he emphasises caring for the community, and setting new standards of excellence in Ayurvedic education, research and clinical care.

Dr. Aparna serves as senior physician and medical director at Purnayoo Arogya Nikethanam, Wayanad. She balances her hours at the hospital with online consultations for patients from across the world. As founding physician, Dr. Aparna was instrumental in setting up South East Asia's leading Ayurveda Center, OneWorld Ayurveda in Bali, Indonesia. She is the Co-Founder of Vaidya Ayurveda and has helped formulate innovative Ayurvedic products. In her childhood, watching the long hours her father spent with his patients, Aparna wasn’t entirely convinced that healthcare was her true calling, but she has since embraced her family practice, and developed her own approach to healing — bringing compassion, candour and humour to her daily interactions.

Dr Abhishek was born and raised in an Indian family where Ayurveda, yoga and meditation were daily practices. He serves as Chair of Ayurveda, Fakultas Kesehatan Ayurweda, Universitas Hindu, Indonesia, Bali, Indonesia and brings over two decades of experience as an Ayurvedic physician. He gained certification as a yoga therapist to help his patients with the healing power of yoga as a therapy. With vast clinical experience treating clients from across 40+ countries, his practice balances Ayurvedic herbal medicines, diet and lifestyle changes, pranayama, meditation, and therapeutic yoga. Abhishek enjoys challenging and inspiring his students and patients to find deep healing and realise their inherent potential through the power of Ayurveda, yoga and meditation.

Mr. Anand Padmanabhan is an engineer who made a life-altering decision to leave his job in London to pursue his passion for Yoga and Ayurveda. He is a QCI (Quality Certification India) recognised Yoga teacher. At Ayurveda Loka, he conducts therapeutic yoga and meditation sessions. He takes an active interest in tree planting, medical camps, and tribal community upliftment and is committed to sustainable practices, organic farming and the preservation of indigenous Indian cow breeds. As CEO, he is a gentle presence with a vision to shape Ayurveda Loka into an inclusive, carbon zero business. He takes a keen interest in the food and vegetable garden, and is focused on implementing sustainable practices including solar power, grey water recycling and ecologic waste management on the Ayurveda Loka campus.
